Megan

Hi my name is Megan I am the project manager at GROW, I have been working in the care industry for the past 8 years and been at the Grow Project for over 2 years, I strive to make sure our members have a happy fun-filled day, to feel safe and included, building their confidence and pushing boundaries, the grow project is truly an amazing place to work, without the dedicated support staff and our wonderful members The GROW project wouldn’t be the success it is today

I am Maria and before going the amazing GROW team I worked in the very corporate world of IT, at Carnival UK for 16 years and prior to that B&Q. I am very proud of the team and the service they offer to our members by pushing boundaries and supporting them to achieve their goals …. what makes me smile is hearing the laughter coming from the Project … who else can hear that at work?

Carly

HI my name is Carly,

I am currently the Deputy Manager at The GROW Project and been in the care sector for over 24 years, I have an NVQ level 2 & 3.

I love working at The GROW Project, I love making sure that all the members have a fun filled day whilst they attended The GROW Project,

Lisa

Hi I am Lisa, I am the administration assistant with the Grow Project and will be sending you any new information regarding Grow.

I am also responsible for sending the invoices for the Grow Members.

I have several years’ experience of administration and have worked in hospitals and care homes.

I enjoy meeting the members and interacting with them.

In my spare time I like to meet friends and family and enjoy a nice meal and catch up.

Jack

HI My name is Jack,

I started my work experience with The GROW Project, back in January 2016, this placement was for two weeks, and loved it so much I asked if I could become a volunteer, to which I become a volunteer for 3 years. In September 2019 I was offered an amazing opportunity to work as an apprentice whilst attending college studying level 2 in learning disabilities. I managed to get my qualification and now I am working full time at The GROW Project.

Ali

Hello, my name is Ali,

I am a support worker at The GROW Project,

Having moved from retail to care 1-4 years ago, I am thankful to have been quickly enrolled into a care training course, which has been fundamentally important in getting my skill level up, to where everyone in the team are confident that I will support members at The GROW Project at my best.

It is a joy to be part of somewhere that believes in everyone, The GROW Project is incredibly supportive and provide fantastic opportunities for all members and staff.

I feel like I have been taught skills and knowledge for life and it really is amazing to be supported by and support wonderful people.

Hi I’m Christina, I’ve worked within in care for 8 years ranging from children to adults, I’ve only been with grow for a short time but I’m looking forward to progressing and supporting all the individuals that we have with us.

Kim

Hi, my name is Kim, quite a newbie at grow and love it. I have been in care for about 20 years with the elderly and the hospital. I have always enjoyed doing care, and I look forward to coming to work at grow, we laugh all day and have so much fun, the members are fab and so are all the staff!!

Nikki

Hi, my name is Nikki and I have worked in the care /support industry for over 8 years the last 15 months have been at The Grow Project. My time at grow has and is very rewarding and enjoyable. No two days are ever the same. I am 55years old making me one of the oldies here, but I like to think that I can keep up with all the youngster. ????

Hi, my name is Polly. I have worked with adults with learning disabilities for 4 years in a supportive living environment. I have recently joined The Grow Project and I love it! The staff here are really passionate about developing the skills of the members who come to GROW. I am proud to now be part of the team!.

My name is Alex I have only just started working with disabilities but have already found a passion for it. I Enjoy playing games and relaxing in my spare time.

Charlie

Hi I’m Charlie, I’m a newbie here at grow but I really enjoy it. I have Sports degree from Leeds Beckett University and I am really looking forward to getting more people with disabilities into sports. I’m so grateful to be apart of something so great with an awesome team and great members .
